Threshold
Graphite and gouache on paper, 2025
59,4 x 42 cm
A moment of suspension in which the being dons its earthly skin to encounter the contingency of reality. Life unfolds precisely within this act of inhabiting matter. Threshold traces the delicate boundary between inner and outer states, presence and dissolution, where existence is possible only through embodiment. The orange gouache brushstroke, dissolving into white, signals this living threshold: a subtle pulse where form briefly comes into being before fading again.
