Genesis Iridis explores the primal moment of consciousness: the eye as an event rather than an organ. A primordial emergence from fluid matter, where seeing and being born coincide. The iris — a chromatic threshold between inner and outer — becomes the trace of a consciousness surfacing, fragile and inevitable, like a tear or a spring. The work suspends the gaze at its first act, before the world is named, when perception and creation are one.
